Awards & Residencies
In 1998, the Scottish Arts Council awarded me a Writer's Bursary. The same year, I was shortlisted for the first Crossword (India) Book Award in the category English Fiction. In 2001, I was shortlisted for the Creative Scotland Awards.In 2000, I was a Writer-in-Residence at the Ilkley Literature Festival in Yorkshire, England, and collaborated with Bill Broady & Paul Houghton to write and present "The Perforated Spirit: Three Eerie Tales". The short story I contributed was "Birth".
